    • Here are the Guidelines we have established for setting up a local Barry Manilow Fan Club.

    1. Local clubs should have a minimum of 25 members. These charter members plus all club officers must also be members of the BMIFC and continue to have a current membership. Membership should be aimed at people who live in the immediate area of the club. Fan club members who live in the same vicinity really enjoy their frequent social get-togethers and attending concerts as a group. However there is no reason why members from other areas cannot join.

    2. Local clubs should publish a periodic newsletter or bulletin.

    3. They should also conduct periodic social events for their members and friends and have an annual fund-raising event for a recognized charity.

    4. Local clubs DON'T answer letters on Barry's behalf.

    5. Local clubs DON'T pretend to offer the official word regarding Barry, his plans or his career.

    To become an Approved Local Club, please submit a list of current members (with their current BMIFC membership numbers), three issues of a Newsletter/Bulletin, a list of officers and any other pertinent information to the BMIFC. Local clubs are sanctioned on January 1 ~ each year for twelve months. At the end of each year we ask for an update in order to sanction the club annually. Good luck, and have fun!
