April 11: Barry just gets better and better and he seems so appreciative of his fans and audience! I LOVE his voice - the show was FANTASTIC! I've already started planning my return trip to Vegas! - Renee K. (of South Bend, IN) (4/13/2008) April 11-12: I recently saw two Music & Passion performances that were amazing. April 11 and April 12 were phenomenal! Barry belted out "Memory" and several other songs that are my absolute favorites. The crowd was wild. I loved meeting Barry at the Platinum experience. Thanks, Barry, for the amazing performances I will always remember. "Moonlight Serenade" was beautiful and you chose my friend to dance with. It was so special for her. I will be back in August to see More Music & Passion!! - Linda Foster (Centreville, VA) (4/14/2008) April 11: I had the pleasure of meeting Barry at platinum! He is the sweetest, kindest and most adorable man! I am still floating! Thank you, Barry, for making my platinum so special and for giving us your fantastic shows! You are a very special person with a very special talent for making people happy! - Mary Flick (of New Jersey) (4/14/2008) April 11: The show was really exceptional! Barry came out in a burst of energy and he kept it up throughout the whole show. The crowd was with him and we spent a lot of the evening on our feet! When we heard the first notes of "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed" we went wild! He also sang "Memory", one of my favourite songs, with an incredible depth of emotion. And to top it all he chose me as his dance partner during "Moonlight Serenade"! Thank you, Barry, for giving me such a wonderful memory. You were so sweet to me!! I'm the Brit who lives in France, as I tried to explain to you, but it didn't come out very clearly, and you said, "My goodness! What a complicated story!" I am now back in France but I'm still on a high and I can't wait till October when I'll come back again! - Janet Fauret (Strasbourge, France) (4/17/2008) April 11: Where to begin? The crowd was on their feet early and raring to go and I DO mean "RARING"! Mr. Music was full of energy to! Must have been those Platinum Girls that "pumped him all up" (before the show)! What a great group they were! He treated us that night to the most beautiful power-packed version of "Memory" that has EVER been performed live. The man was amazing! Then comes "Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed" along with the coveted microphone stand. What a sight that was! That was a rock and roll, down-and-dirty emotion-packed song if I have ever heard one that had the crowd absolutely in a frenzy! Talk about "in the zone!" The Man was definitely focused THAT NIGHT. What a perfect night it was and he made so many people feel so great, with songs from the most sentimental of power ballads that only HE can do to the powerhouse version of "Memory"! Just come out and blow the roof off with those two songs and then just sit on stage and talk to the crowd would have been "just fine"! Thank you for My Best Day Ever and maybe in October I can add Another Best Day Ever when a WHOLE BUNCH OF US arrive at the Hilton again for an Encore! It is a whole week after that show and I STILL CAN"T FOCUS! Barry Manilow is like Medicine and I NEED A REFILL soon! - Carolyn Farren (of Pennsylvania) (4/19/2008) Barry surprised us in Vegas as I made a fool of myself and cried when he was singing a song beside the stage where we were seated in the VIP section. Barry had to hold a paper up so he could finish the song. At that concert Barry seemed more into the music than [in past concerts attended]. - Diane Hoover (Tucson, AZ) (6/19/2009) First Show (April 11) - Marcia Muniz (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) (3/13/2010) [What I liked about this show was] sitting on stage left in April of 2008 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Barry had revised the show from the Dew Drop Inn piano bar to the upright piano and performed "Jump Shout Boogie." He then began to sing and the piano moved away leaving Barry right in front of me. I stuck out my hand and while he was singing he said "hi" to me and shook my hand. I was beyond excited. Hopefully some day I can meet him and thank him personally for a lifetime of music and memories and for inspiring me to be a musician/performer. - Tom Vitello, Jr. (Niagara Falls, NY) (7/28/2011) |

The Barry Manilow concert was awesome. I have always wanted to go but was unable too. This time I thought my birthday was around the corner, so why not?! Barry is the most talented sexiest man alive in my book. The concert was every thing I had hoped for - it could have gone on for ever! He seemed to me to be very caring and singing just to us although I know that is how he is All The Time. But his songs are so moving and caring. He IS love, music and passion! Thank you, Barry, for singing to us. Please come again. - Gerri Barbeau (St. Louis, MO) (4/27/2008)Barry, you just continue to outdo yourself everytime I see you! Tonight's show will be a favorite of mine. It was a night of Barry and good friends! Nothing compares to seeing you in a room surrounded with fans who adore you! You are in your element and one look at you says it all. You give us so much enjoyment and I hope you are feeling it because you sure look like you are having a great time! - Mary Flick (of New Jersey) (4/27/2008) As always, Barry gave us 110%! And the show was out of this world!! When he sang "Looks Like We Made It" I thought I would have a heart attack as it was very PASSIONATE! Thank you, Barry, for all the beautiful music and wonderful memories. - Deanna Bell (Newton, NC) (4/28/2008)

An Evening of Music and Passion
My Mom and I just went to our 5th Barry concert last night at the brand new Sprint Center in KC. What an awesome show. Last summer we went to see his show in Las Vegas and the concert last night was just like that one. Thanks, Barry, for bringing your Las Vegas show to the Midwest! He really plays to the crowd and the acoustics in our new arena just made his songs that much better. Can't wait for him to return to KC. His concerts never disappoint and everyone seemed to leave the arena with smile. After all... we can't smile without Barry Manilow! - Kelly H. (Kansas City, MO) (4/27/2008)What a great show! The arena was filled with love. Barry's performance was amazing. I am so happy I made the trip! - Mary Flick (of New Jersey) (4/27/2008) The seats I obtained from BMIFC were quite excellent. 2nd row, center. I loved that after all these years seeing him from afar, [this time being] so close I could see the sparkle in his eye, the emotion and the smiles of appreciation and satisfaction on his face. I felt his music like no other time before. I felt privileged to be a part of this concert and the time he shared with his fans. He truly loves what he does, appreciates his fans, and it's wonderful to have been a part of a spectacular moment in time, shared with the most talented and creative artist in the universe. I am so grateful to have the privilege to have seen him so many times. He and his music are part of what has made my life special. Thank you, Barry. - Dana L. Russell (Kansas City, MO) (6/13/2009) I liked EVERYTHING about the concert! From the moment Barry stepped on stage, I started crying hysterically. I can't even explain why I love Barry so much but it's all tied to my childhood somehow... Back in the early '80s, Barry was to be in concert in Salina, KS and I was going with my boyfriend. We skipped school that Friday before the Saturday show and my mom grounded me, took our tickets and she went with her best friend. I never got over it. Well, Barry didn't come back to Kansas again until 2008 and I went with my favorite Aunt, Renee. We had the time of our lives and I was crying so hard finally seeing him, the girl next to me tried to make me feel better and said as a joke, "you're not going to throw your panties up there are you??" I was a 41-year-old woman living my dream. I can't explain the pure happiness I felt. Thank you so much, Barry! I know I'm just another fan of yours out of millions but you touch me in a way that can't be spoken in words. Please come back to Kansas for more shows! Love you!! - Michele Sutter (Chapman, KS) (7/9/2010) First Show - Kathleen Beverage (Lincoln, Nebraska) (12/11/2011) First Show - Heather Hall (Kansas City, Missouri) (3/2/2012)

I had a front row seat for the Platinum Experience. It was so emotional after meeting Barry, that this concert was so special. I have been to a lot of Barry's concerts and feel so uplifted and happy after each one, each concert is so different and magical and Barry is a fantastic performer in every aspect of his music. Barry gets me through tough times and I am happy that he is a part of my life. I have seen many artists live but no one can take the place of Barry. He is a true showman. - Christine Marshall (Preston, England) (5/16/2009) April 30: My husband took me to Vegas for our anniversary, and we had stage seats. When I saw Barry coming over to the side that we were on, I knew that we were going to get a handshake. When we did, I was so happy! That is why this is my favorite show. Very exciting! - Barbara Dayton (Philadelphia, PA) (6/7/2009, 3/18/2010) |

May 7: Loved the Music and Passion show. A lot of energy and fun songs! - Kim Righetti (Seattle, WA) (8/23/2009) May 7: Every concert I see turns out to be my favorite, but the one I saw in Las Vegas on May 7, 2008, was very special to me. I had tickets for the stage. Being very close to Barry made me feel like he was singing just for me. - Anne Hoxie (Boynton Beach, FL) (12/12/2009) We were sitting on the stage and I was chosen to dance with Barry on stage. Of course, I felt a bit intimidated, but excited too! - Candy Sharp (Peoria, AZ) (6/14/2010) Favorite Show (May 10): My favorite concert was "Music and Passion" on May 10th, 2008, because I was on the Rock Bottom Left Side of the stage and Barry came up and shook my hand, and a good one at that! I must say he is quite handsome and has such beautiful eyes. - Cheryl Bowers (Lake Isabella, California) (7/23/2011, 3/24/2013) |

Hearing you sing "Born Free," "Weekend In New England," "Sweet Heaven" and "Why Don't We Live Together" all in one week blew me away! You sound amazing and you look gorgeous. You have no idea how much fun I have watching you on stage! You are fabulous!! - Mary Flick (of New Jersey) (5/27/2008) Highlights (May 23): It's A Miracle / Daybreak / Somewhere In The Night / This One's For You / The Old Songs / Forties segment (Singin' With The Big Bands, Jump Shout Boogie, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Jump Shout Boogie (reprise)) / Moonlight Serenade / Bandstand Boogie / Looks Like We Made It / New York City Rhythm / I Am Your Child / I Made It Through The Rain/Sing It / Can't Smile Without You / They Dance! / Dance Medley (Boogie Wonderland, Hot Stuff, Signed Sealed Delivered, They Dance (reprise)) / Born Free / Sixties segment (Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love, What The World Needs Now Is Love) / Mandy/Could It Be Magic / I Write The Songs / Copacabana (At The Copa)/ I See You Baby / It's A Miracle (reprise) [ Manilow TV Episode #124 (5/23/2008) aired April 2020 ] |

May 31: My 10-year-old daughter and I had done the PBS "Meet and Greet" the night before and had a wonderful time at both the concert and meeting Barry afterward. The next day my daughter asked if I thought Barry would remember her if he ever met her again. I admitted that I doubted it since he has such a busy schedule and meets so many people on a daily basis. That night at the concert we were sitting in the stage-side seats. When Barry came to our side of the stage to shake hands with the audience, my daughter stood up to shake his hand. Barry looked up at her, took her hand, his face lit up with a huge smile, and he told her it was "so nice to see her again" while shaking her hand. This was the biggest thrill of her young life! What an impression to make on a young girl ... that a mega-superstar, someone whom she has listened to, watched, and admired her whole life would remember her! After 33 years of being a fan of Barry's, this moment has to be the most dear to me. Thank you, Barry, for making my daughter feel so special that night. It was a moment she will always remember. - Diane Floyd (Springfield, MO) (10/9/2008) |

An Evening of Music and Passion
It was one of the most memorable evenings of my life! Barry did not come to my hometown very often. If he did, I was too young to attend. The concert was very magical for me. Barry is a very sincere human being who surprisingly enough is very funny. The fact that he cries at his own songs proves that he is real and authentic and not a fake. I am hooked and hope to see him again soon. If anyone has pictures from the Montreal show, please e-mail me. It would greatly be appreciated. - Louise Blahovici (Montreal, Quebec) (6/11/2008)My brother was going through a tough time... He usually played piano at home, but during that period, for months he didn't even want to play. One day, he timidly started to play a piece I recognised as Barry Manilow's song. A few days before, I had seen advertising about Barry's show coming to Montreal. I jumped on the occasion and bought two tickets for my brother and me and we went to see the show. He said it was the best show of his life, and I, myself, was ecstatic during the show, standing and dancing the whole time (My apologies to the people behind me!) and surprisingly singing out loud to songs I learned 30 years earlier (My apologies to the people in front of me!!). My brother is doing fine now, thanks to the magic of Barry's music! Mr. Manilow, I will never thank you enough to have given me back my brother and lifting my own spirits at the same time with your Beautiful Music and your unique way of performing it on stage with such energy and kindness. I wish you all the happiness in the world! - Sylvie Robert (Montreal, Canada) (12/30/2010) What I liked about this show was EVERYTHING! Barry, you are a fabulous musician, artist, and jingle writer too! I am sure you have heard it all before [about] the influence you have had on people's lives and what YOUR MUSIC has meant to people... Every one of your songs has a significant meaning for me in my life and so many of your songs still choke me up to this day. I have never heard a single song sung by you that I did not adore! I am a truly dedicated Barry Manilow fan. It is with your incredible talent and amazing influence that you have been able to have this kind of affect on people, which is truly remarkable... I was raised by my grandmother and my single mom who felt that music was very important in our lives. She was born in 1902 and I was born in 1958, but my Gran and I were on the same page and we liked songs that had meaning. To find ANY singer in our lives that we could even be on the same page about was truly AMAZING. And that singer would be you!! - Sandy Edwards (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) (7/4/2011) This show was a trip down memory lane! - Martine Cabana (Montreal, Canada) (7/30/2011) |

An Evening of Music and Passion
Wow, Barry, another great performance! I am so fortunate that I am able to travel to these concerts. Thanks for making them so special. You put your heart and soul into each one and I love seeing your reaction as well as ours. Keep them coming. We love you! - Mary (of New Jersey) (6/8/2008)How lucky can I be, when I'm able to be part of my two favourite nieces' first ever Barry Manilow concert!? Along with my sister Charlene, my nieces Olivia (5 years old) and Madison (3 years old), we had the most spectacular time of our lives. With glowsticks in hand and Barry belting out all their favourite hits as well as a few that will become future favourites, we were up and dancing from the first note to the final goodbye. I have never had so much FUN in all the concerts I have attended (and I have attended plenty!). When I let my sister know that Barry was making a visit to Toronto, she was so excited that the girls were actually going to get to see Barry somewhere other than a 61" television screen. I could go on and on about how Barry is a big part of our lives, but anyone reading this already knows and understands. Olivia, Madison and Charlene... Thank you all for making this night so SPECIAL to me. I Love You All. - (Uncle) Wayne O'Shell (Courtice, Ontario, Canada) (7/4/2008) I have been a Barry fan since 1974... My Son grew up singing his songs and today he is a successful singer and songwriter and plays many instruments. Barry puts his heart and soul into everything, he just writes Beautiful Music. He is so compassionate and his show in Toronto was absolutely fantastic. What a showman! I think he was overwhelmed that so many people came out to his show after not being in Toronto for over 25 years. There is no one like him, no one can't touch him, and I hope he continues to do what he does best... entertain me! See ya in Rochester, Barry, on July 7th!! - Sheila Angus (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) (4/24/2009) I have never had the chance to see Barry until last year. I just think he is not only a great singer, but he is a wonderful all round entertainer. Since seeing his show last year I have lost count of how many DVDs and CDs I have bought. I hope I get a chance to go and see him again. Thanks, Barry! - Jackie Black (Collingwood, Ontario, Canada) (8/13/2009) I have seen so many Barry Manilow concerts over the years. Some years I saw the same concert as many as ten times! But what I missed most was Barry's singing with Debra Byrd to the Dionne Warwick songs. The two of you had such great harmony together. Every concert he does leaves an everlasting impression on me one way or another. Love Always, Mary L. (Menzies) Cranston (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) (11/24/2009) There's nothing Barry can't do and there's nothing I don't like. I just adore Barry. I've been listening to Barry from the beginning; his first hit single "Mandy," the song that changed his life and mine. It's funny, I've never personally met Barry but somehow I feel like I know him through his music and his stories. I love the story he told about his grandfather taking him to a 25-cent booth to record "Happy Birthday" the way he told this story with the music, "I Made It Through The Rain" leading up to when he first SANG in the booth to playing in Carnegie Hall. "What a life" and what a life you have, Barry. I have nothing but absolute devotion and respect for Barry. Maybe we're twins - Gemini that is! He's a great entertainer/performer, the best I've seen! Well, my dear friend Barry, I will see you in Windsor, Ontario (August 2011). I hope you read this and call me up for at least 30 seconds of fame! - Denise Ridley (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (6/23/2011) I got my tickets through the BMIFC and I was the closest I have ever been. Barry's voice was like silk that night. He sang so many favourites, and he spoke directly to us. It really doesn't matter which concert you go to, he is a professional and he is funny. His voice has only improved with age and the music he writes is pure genious. - Caryn Taylor (Toronto, Canada) (8/27/2011) Barry was energized! Love was all around. The crowd was alive! The songs were great!! - Judy (of Toronto, Canada) (8/28/2011) First Show - Theresa Grayson (Holland Landing, Ontario, Canada) (6/7/2016) Highlights: It's A Miracle / Daybreak / Somewhere In The Night / This One's For You / The Old Songs / Ready To Take A Chance Again / Weekend In New England / Bandstand Boogie / Looks Like We Made It / I Made It Through The Rain / Can't Smile Without You / Brooklyn Blues (with Brian Culbertson) / New York City Rhythm (with Ron Pedley, Joey Melotti, Ron Walters Jr.) / Even Now / Could It Be Magic (prelude) / Somewhere Down The Road / Can't Take My Eyes Off You / Baby Love / What The World Needs Now Is Love / Mandy/Could It Be Magic / I Write The Songs / Copacabana (At The Copa) / It's A Miracle (Reprise) / Old Friend/Forever And A Day [ Manilow TV Episode #100 aired April 2018 ]

June 17: Barry's Birthday show. My very first live show, I couldn't have chosen better! Barry was on fire tonight. He sang a lot of his own songs, his voice was fabulous and he looked great. His backup singers brought a birthday cake onto the stage at one point. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" and he looked so happy to be with people he loved. He did say Thank You all for being with me on such a horrible day, he couldn't think of anywhere he would rather be than with his friends. The intimacy of the Hilton theatre was lovely and I was in the front row. I can't describe what it's like up close, it was just awesome! I was fortunate to attend the BMIFC birthday bash afterwards and Barry came in! No one was expecting him so it was lovely to see him being so relaxed, with a glass of wine in his hand saying Hi to people. The people from BMIFC were wonderful and gave us a great evening. What a way to be introduced to the Manilow experience! June 20: My second show and could I have asked for anything better! I sat on the side stage seat and Barry asked me to dance. This was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life, that he would actually choose me! Thank you, Barry! The show, what I can remember of it, was fabulous again. Many of his own songs again. It was wonderful to see him singing "Even Now," "Weekend in New England," "Somewhere Down The Road," the Mayflower medley, the 60's medley and more! His voice was great and he looked happy and relaxed. June 21: My third show! It was wonderful again and I was still floating on air [from the night before]. Tonight Barry did "Who's Been Sleeping in my Bed" and "The Best Of Me" (one of my favourite songs). He surpassed himself tonight and mentioned the fact that there were people from the UK in the audience. His band and backup singers really are the best in the business. Everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves so much, it comes across to the audience. Wonderful show Barry, thank you. - Joanne Solanki (of the UK) (7/5/2008) June 17: If I never was able to see another show, this one will always be the most special for me. I guess God blessed me with being Barry's dance partner on his birthday, and those moments are ones I will never forget. Some things change your life in ways you can't explain and this night was one of those times for me. I've been with Barry for 33 years now and will be the last fan there in my wheelchair when he comes out on stage in his. - Lori Domingo (Tampa, FL (7/13/2008) June 17: Barry's Birthday show! There was something about the whole show that just stands out from all the others [I've been to], and I think that's because I met a friend from the USA that I had met on the board and we finaly got to meet. We went to the show together, and of course, the Birthday Bash. So much about that show, that day, was just... well... like no other! Seeing Barry Live is amazing, but getting the chance to see him on his birthday...was AMAZING. Thank you, Barry! - Adele Whipp (Hull, Yorkshire, UK) (10/4/2009, 10/29/2010) |

June 25-27: WOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEE BARRY! Three fabulous shows! Barry, where do you get your energy? It is so much fun watching you. I don't know how you continuously top yourself but you do. Every show is unique and special. We had the best time and I can't wait to come back and see your new shows. Love your enthusiasm and of course your beautiful voice! - Mary (of New Jersey) (6/28/2008) June 26: I had a front row seat in the middle section with two friends and WOW, what a show! I loved to hear "Open Arms" and "Memory" especially. Barry looked and sounded perfect. Everyone seemed to have a great time. June 27: Tonight was the best ever sitting with two friends in the M3 front row section. We yelled and screamed and the more we did that the more animated Barry became. The crowd loved "Memory" and "Somewhere Down The Road." Barry was especially happy tonight and bouncy and twirling. Love to see him have fun with us. We loved hearing the "William Tell Overture" (Wow!). I think Barry stayed just a bit longer in the exit door savoring the moment and saying goodbye. Thank you, Barry! And to your band and backups - see you in August!! - Linda Foster (Centreville, VA) (6/30/2008) June 26-27: Barry was hot and on fire! I had a front row seat for the 6/27 show with two of my friends and we had the time of our lives. Barry did "Open Arms", "Memory" and "Looks Like We Made It" with so much emotion and passion! Then Barry and the back-ups blew the audience away with the most fabulous "William Tell Overture." You could hear a pin drop in the showroom as Barry did "Somewhere Down the Road." Thank you so much, Barry! I hope you could see how much fun we were having. I still have a huge smile on my face from that show. Barry, you give us so much. Your music and your passion for music brings so much joy and happiness into our lives. I hope you know that everything you do for us is truly appreciated. Thank you, Barry, back-ups and band for the awesome shows. You are amazing! See you in August!! - Kendra (of St. Paul, MN) (7/2/2008) June 27: I was one of the fortunate recipients of a fantastic show-stopping performance of the world-renowned Barry Manilow's Music and Passion show in Las Vegas. His legendary delivery of lyrics and emotion kept the audience spellbound as every song he sang came from the depths of his soul. Throughout the entire performance, Barry was rewarded with standing ovations seasoned with "Love you Barry," "You're wonderful," as well as "You're fantastic!" His admiration for his fans was evident by his warm and generous smile, followed by his words, "Thank you all, so very much." The opening number of "It's a Miracle" was upbeat, and followed by "Daybreak." Barry's emotional and very sensual interpretation of "Somewhere in the Night" brought fans to near pandemonium. The same is true when Barry sang, "Ready to Take a Chance Again," "Weekend in New England," and "Looks Like We Made It." His unadulterated pure emotions came through every lyric, innuendo, every facial expression, and every musical phrase as audience members felt he sang only to one single special person. Such is raw talent, and Barry definitely has talent! His subtle hip movements suggested his love affair with his audience and was met with resounding approval; his every look, stare and clenching of fists emphasized a particular lyric. Breaths grew faster and hearts pounded with obvious appreciation of his never-ending talent. As if this wasn't enough, the audience was treated to "The Old Songs," "Memory," "I Made It Through The Rain," as well as "Somewhere Down The Road." Tears could be seen in the eyes of some of the audience members. As a tribute to the 60's, Barry sang "Can't Take My Eyes Off From You," and "What The World Needs Now." Again, another performance by Barry was beyond compare to all other singing artists... past, present and most assuredly in the future. A special treat was afforded to his fans with the a cappella rendition of the "William Tell Overture" performed by Barry and his stellar background singers. Pure naked talent is the only way to describe this segment. "Mandy" with the chorus of "Could It Be Magic" as the ending, was more dynamic than when I saw Barry in April 2008. "I Write The Songs" brought the audience to their feet with deafening applause. The entire audience rocked to "Bandstand Boogie," "New York City Rhythm," "Can't Smile Without You," "They Dance," and certainly to the finale of "Copacabana." A reprise of "It's a Miracle," complete with streamers and confetti flowing from the ceiling brought the evening to an earth-shattering conclusion. Many an audience member sat mesmerized in their seats, staring at the now vacant stage; clearly in awe of the entire dynamic and utterly talented Barry Manilow - a man and his talent which will forever be indelibly etched in the hearts and memory of his audience. I too, was in a state of spell-bound admiration. I am, and forever will be Barry's life-long fan! - Cynthia B. Ainsworthe (St. Petersburg, FL) (7/5/2008) June 25: Barry gave his usual 110%. He sang "Open Arms" and it was magical. Hearing and seeing him sing "Even Now," "Weekend in New England" and "Looks Like We Made It" is a dream come true. He sounds even better than just listening though an iPod! His facial expressions show how much he puts into every song. June 26: Could the show get any better? Very definitely Yes! Firstly there were more fans in the audience tonight and Barry responds when he knows that. But what capped the whole show for me tonight was his delivery of "Memory." He nailed it perfectly, out of the theatre, and down the strip!! I listen to this one All The Time on CD but listening and watching him do this one live was breathtaking! The song itself holds a message which is very personal to me at the moment and he had me in tears with this tonight. Thank you, Barry! At the beginning of the show, while a batter was being sorted out by Barry, the band started up "Brooklyn Blues," then Barry finished the song through. What a treat! It is a testament to his professionalism when he can do something spontaneous like this. This was an emotionally charged show tonight and Barry was brilliant! June 27: My last show of my trip! It was also my platinum night and it was wonderful to meet the man who was giving so much to me throughout my life and specially these 2 weeks. Tonight Barry gave it 110% as usual. He gave us "Memory" and the "William Tell Overture." This really enabled his back up singers to shine through with their talents. The whole band appeared relaxed and happy. I would just like to give a mention to the band and backup singers. They have been awesome for all shows I attended and are really the most talented group of musicians every night on stage (Kye is fantastic when the singers do "Copacabana"). All I can say is a very big thank you to Barry and all his band, crew and staff for what for me was an absolutely wonderful and magical journey! - Joanne Solanki (of the UK) (7/7/2008) |
