But, definitely, what made this show special was that my husband proposed to me at this concert. Barry read a letter he had received from my now husband and invited us up, where my husband made his proposal. Of course I said Yes! Barry then sang "The Best of Me." We received an autographed video of that portion of the concert when we returned to our seats. We showed the video at our wedding reception and danced our first dance during the part where Barry was singing. During the concert, Mandy and Jason were making eye contact and after the concert Di Coleman walked up to Mandy and said "Where'd you go girl, he was looking for you?" We didn't want to take the kids into the concert, so I went myself and my husband kept the kids occupied in the amusement park. What a show! It was my 18th show and I still get chills just before Barry comes on stage like it was my first show (which was in 1980). Barry somehow understood what I was asking and graciously signed a photo that I had taken of him from a prior show at the Wolf Trap outside of Washington, DC. I have truly enjoyed all 21 shows that I have been able to attend but getting to actually meet Barry along with hearing his music live was a highlight for me.
