Manilow Live - Chicago, IL - August 1, 1999!
 Hi Everyone! This month’s MTV comes from a concert we did in 1999. Back in 1997, we did a tour that we called “The Clicker Tour”. On that tour, we invented “The Wheel ‘O Barry”. It was a huge thing that looked like a Wheel of Fortune that hung on the back wall of the stage. On the wheel were 16 albums. I would have a clicker and I would spin the wheel. Then we gave a “Clicker” to a member of the audience. And they would stop the wheel and we would do a song from whatever album the wheel landed on. I loved that show. And complicated as it was, we only had five musicians in the band. And they were great and could play anything. Well, this month’s show is totally opposite of the “Clicker” tour. This show had 40 musicians! That’s because I was promoting “Manilow Sings Sinatra”, an album I made that paid tribute to Frank Sinatra. It was a wonderful show. Of course, we did all the hits too. It’s so entertaining, so funny and so musical. And there’s a wonderful moment with my accordion! I know I say this all the time, but it’s one of my favorite shows. Enjoy,
