 TICKETS. It’s true. We finally have concert tickets in hand and will start announcing what cities are on sale and when later today. Because we work with great concert promoters, we are able to sell great seats in advance of what’s called the general public “on-sale.” These BMIFC tickets are only available online via www.manilow.com or call Miss Vikki at 310-957-5788. We started doing this in 1978 and everyone said we were nuts. They still say the same thing, though most now understand and appreciate that it’s a great way to give Barry’s fans a chance to get great tickets before the mad rush. Over the years we’ve learned that our members prefer the top price tickets. In most cities the top price is $129.75. In some major cities, the top price is $249.75. When tickets eventually go on-sale to the general public you’ll find about five or six ticket prices. And in just about every city there will be some tickets as low as $19.75. Our goal has always been to have as many ticket prices as possible with average ticket prices comparable to other major artists. For now, only the top price tickets will be available. We’ll also offer a very limited number of Platinum Packages. These front row seats benefit the Manilow Music Project and include some exclusive goodies that will be outlined later today. In addition to the Platinum Package and as we have done before, Front Row Manilow will have a very limited number of front row tickets available for those determined to have the best seat in the house. New for these concerts are the Copa Lounge Party Package (CLPP) hosted by Miss Vikki. In addition to great seats, the CLPP includes a fun pre-show party with a few surprises. We can’t imagine what she has dreamed up. Well, maybe we can. We just don’t want to know. To help everything run smoothly, we’ve upgraded our computer system and extra staffers will be answering phones. Hopefully the computer troll will cooperate all will go well. We promise you that everyone wants you to have a great Manilow Music experience.
We just received the advanced gossip that MY DREAM DUETS will most likely chart next week around #7 or #8. That’s pretty great. And means another TOP TEN record for Barry. But of course, we’d love to see it chart higher. And of course, we’d love to give Barry a great Christmas present with a TOP FIVE record. Maybe you would too? Now, we know that many of you already have your copy. And from posts we’ve read, it sounds like just about everyone loves it. But, just in case you don’t have a copy of DREAM DUETS, or just in case you’re shopping for Christmas presents..... we’ve also confirmed that both TARGET and WAL-MART now have extra copies in stock.
