BARRY MANILOW SHARES "MUSIC AND PASSION" TO BENEFIT CITY OF HOPE

Music legend dedicates February 13 Las Vegas performance to cancer research, treatment and education

LOS ANGELES -- Music legend Barry Manilow, whose career has spanned three decades and includes Grammy, Emmy and Tony Awards, will host a benefit concert for City of Hope at the Las Vegas Hilton. The concert will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at 8 p.m. and is part of Manilow's hit show, "Music and Passion."

"I'm honored to be able to dedicate this concert to the innovative research programs at City of Hope," said Manilow. "The night will celebrate the hard work and dedication of the physicians and scientists at City of Hope, who are redefining the future of medicine. I'm so excited to share this with my audience and support the cause in this way."

Manilow returned to the stage in November on the heels of a successful year, with two albums topping the charts: "Greatest Songs of the Fifties" which debuted at No. 1 and his "Greatest Songs of the Sixties" debuting No. 2, while also receiving an Emmy Award for the PBS Special, "Manilow: Music and Passion" and it's DVD achieving triple-platinum status.
