We rehearsed the live version of "Bring On Tomorrow" all last weekend. I'm crazy about this song. Very proud of my melody and Nick's lyric is sensational. Very powerful production too by Michael Lloyd.
Even though the song moves the story along on the album (he gets a job and comes home to celebrate), I hope it works on its own as an uplifting message. Who knows what the public will think of this song, but all you can do is to make the best work you can and let it out. Buddhism advises to "not be attached to the results." Easier said than done! |
