Las Vegas Magazine, September 2026 Editor's Note: Barry Manilow has rescheduled his September performance dates. His first date back is scheduled to be Oct. 8. There is truly a vibe of celebration surrounding Westgate Las Vegas right now. The International Theater is still buzzing from the return of legendary performer Barry Manilow to his record-breaking residency in July, where fans filled every single seat and then proceeded to barely use them, standing for almost the entire run of shows to show their love and appreciation for the man who returned from a lung cancer scare for the first time in 2026. It’s difficult to say whom the July 9-11 return meant more to: The fans or Manilow, clearly emotional about his return to a property that gave him a lifetime contract. (That’s right: Manilow can perform at the theater famous for Elvis’ 1970s residency for as long as he wants.) And if the current shows are any indication, tickets for Manilow performances will continue to be sold far into the future. Not only will the fans demand it; Manilow loves giving the fans what they want. “It was great returning to the International Theater stage at Westgate Las Vegas,” said Manilow in a statement. “This is my home away from home.” And if we’re going by performances alone, this is now Manilow’s theater: in 2024 he performed his 637th show, one more than Elvis, so every performance you see going forward notches a new mark in history. To say Manilow has the full support of Westgate is a massive understatement. “Seeing Barry back on the International Theater stage was incredibly moving,” said Westgate president and general manager Cami Christensen in a statement. “The love and admiration from our guests were undeniable from the moment he walked onstage. Barry’s resilience, extraordinary talent and genuine connection with his fans continue to inspire all of us. We are honored that Westgate is home to his lifetime residency and proud to welcome him back where he belongs.” And Manilow isn’t just back in Las Vegas: He’s back to touring, with various dates in Florida next year (Sunrise on Jan. 15, Estero on Jan. 16-17, Tampa on Jan. 20 and Orlando on Jan. 21). He’s clearly all systems go once again, even releasing his first new studio album in 15 years, What a Time. If you’ve never seen Manilow in concert, there’s no better time to become a fan. There’s never been more energy at his shows than right now, and when you factor in the incredible setlist he has at his disposal, you have a night filled with goose bumps, memories and strong emotions, especially when Manilow addresses his audience directly.
