Mashing up her song “Feather” with Manilow’s “Copacabana,” according to fan footage of her festival performance, not only thrilled fans of both artists, but of the 82-year-old music icon himself. Showing his gratitude, the “Mandy” singer took to Instagram on Monday reposting a clip of Carpenter’s where she danced to the fun remix. “She was a #showgirl!” he captioned his post. “Thanks for all the love @sabrinacarpenter!” According to fan posts, Manilow also sent the singer flowers and a note. “Dear Sabrina, Loved your set at Coachella. Much good luck,” the note read. The “Espresso” singer originally posted the ‘thank you’ video on TikTok following her performance at the festival that took place over the past two weekends. “Thank you for coming to Sabrinawood,” she captioned the clip. And fans were loving it. “Sabrina has great taste and a fun, production style of entertainment! Love Barry so much!!!!” one wrote. “Ya girl has good taste!” echoed another. "This is fabulous,” a third simply said.
