Name: BarryNet Message Board Date/Time: 4/1/2020 6:43 PM Subject: New on Manilow TV for April: Music and Passion - May 23, 2008 - Las Vegas Hilton New videos for the month of April have been updated on www.manilowtv.com with a brand new one from the Las Vegas Hilton in 2008 which features a rare song only performed twice, Born Free!  Hi Everybody, This month’s MTV is another rare one. We were sure busy back in 2008. We were doing the “Music and Passion” show at the Las Vegas Hilton and filling up the empty Vegas weeks by going on the road and doing it in various cities. Lots of work, but great, great audiences and a lot of music and a lot of laughs. This show is one of the last times we did the “Music and Passion” show in Vegas. After that, we took 2 months off and created the show we called “Ultimate Manilow” named after the same album that had entered the charts at #1! By the way, after that album became so popular, it seemed that every Greatest Hits album started being called “Ultimate” something! But we were the first! This Hilton show has a little bit of everything in it. “Big Bands” “Here at the Mayflower” and songs from the Decades albums – “60’s” and “70’s”. The rare song in this show is one that I had done for Andy Williams when he was honored at the “Society Of Singers” benefit show the night before. I did a little re-arranging of his big hit song “Born Free” that night and decided to do it in the Hilton show the following night. I think the crowd liked it. Hope you do too!
