Everything’s coming up Rosie! Rosie O’Donnell’s star-studded, live reboot of her Emmy-winning talk show raised over $600,000 for The Actors Fund to help during the coronavirus crisis, which has forced Broadway shows to go dark through April 13. The 3-1/2 hour event, which streamed live on Broadway.com and its official YouTube page, featured appearances and performances from Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Gloria Estefan, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Harvey Fierstein, Neil Patrick Harris, Barry Manilow, Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Andrew Rannells, Chita Rivera, Jordin Sparks, Ben Vereen, Tituss Burgess and Kristin Chenoweth, among others -- all from the comfort of their own homes and other places of isolation ... [Manilow] closed the show with a medley of his big hits, including "Copacabana," "Can't Smile Without You" and "[I Made It Through The Rain]." During its six-season run, the nationally syndicated “Rosie O’Donnell Show” was celebrated for devoting more airtime to promoting theatrical productions than any other national show in television history. O’Donnell, who starred in Broadway productions of “Grease” and “Fiddler on the Roof” and produced the Boy George “Taboo” musical, was awarded the Isabelle Stevenson Award during the 2014 Tony Awards, in recognition of her commitment to arts education.
