In June of 1943 in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York, Barry Alan Pincus was born. Over the years, he created some of the most memorable jingles, worked with the biggest names in the record industry and made some of the most beautiful music ever. With 50 Top 40 hits and 85 million albums sold, this Grammy, Tony, and Emmy award winning musician is ranked as the No. 1 Adult Contemporary Artist of all time, according to Billboard and R&R magazines.

In May of 2018, Barry Manilow brought his “The Hits Come Home” show to the Westgate Las Vegas. To rave reviews and sold out audiences ,the legend has earned the Best of Las Vegas awards for Best Resident Performer/Headliner in 2018 and again in 2019. “The Westgate in Las Vegas has become my second home. I am thrilled I will continue to perform my hits for the fans in such an iconic theater and property.” Manilow said.

You can take the boy out of Brooklyn, but you can’t take Brooklyn out of the boy. With each song and the stories behind it, his warmth comes through to each audience member like you were there with him when he wrote them. You can’t fight it, [the] lyrics and melodies take you over.

Las Vegas’ new favorite son, Raiders owner Mark Davis, was in attendance this week and said: “This is my home and I love everything about it. Seeing one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time is just the best.”

From, “I Write the Songs,” to “Mandy” to “Looks Like We Made It”, no one has the flair and pizzazz that Manilow has. When he closes the show with his blockbuster hit, “Copacabana” elevated above the audience floor, every guest is on their feet singing and dancing.

The foremost Donald Trump impersonator on the planet, Vegas-based entertainer John Di Domenico said after the show: “Barry Manilow is an excellent showman with an unbelievable catalog of hit songs. The show is well produced, fast-paced, and covers all of his hits with a fantastic band and a trio of backup singers who are superb.”

It doesn’t matter if you are 18 or 80, seeing Barry Manilow will be one of the greatest experiences of your life. With scheduled dates through November at the Westgate International Theater, make the trip and see the magic that is Manilow.
