January 7: My Down's Syndrome sister had one last wish: to meet Barry Manilow and see him in concert. It all began in July 2008... Her heart was very, very sick and it was a weekend of everything Barry -- watching his DVDs, listening to his CDs and checking out his online store -- that gave her the strength to carry on. From that weekend in July 2008 I had made a commitment to my sister that I would do my very best to fulfill her wish. There was much to consider, none more important than health insurance as we would be leaving Canada. By the fall of 2010 her health had stabilized enough to secure travel health insurance and make plans to fulfill her wish. A Platinum Experience at the Paris on January 7, 2011 would be the adventure of a lifetime. How can I put into words what that evening was like. Barry was warm and patient when meeting my sister. His staff was equally as excited to witness the joy in my sister. There were tears all around and then we were escorted into the theater to experience Barry's concert. It was an amazing concert. Every song was heartfelt and we especially loved the American Bandstand segment and the joyful interaction with his backup singer/dancers. Every song was a reminder of how powerful his music is. I am convinced that Barry's extraordinary music saved my sister's life back in July 2008. She will tell everyone that Barry's music makes her heart sing. She listens to Barry's music every night before she falls asleep. To everyone at Stiletto Entertainment, thank you so very, very much. We will treasure this experience forever! - Lynne Ritz (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) (7/7/2011)

January 8: It was a dream come true to be at Barry's Las Vegas concert and to be in the 10th row, closest I've ever been! It was at the Paris and my husband and I were there that week celebrating our 35th anniversary! Barry is such an amazing showman and I just loved everything about the show. He is a thrill to watch and I love all those romantic songs he sings. He has a great connection with his audience which is super and always gives 100% at his shows. No matter how many times you see him perform, when you leave the show you know you've just seen the most incredible performer of our time. His band and singers are top notch also. Everything from the lighting, music, how Barry always leaves his fans wanting more is wonderful! I can't say enough good things about his shows, he always gives it his all! If you haven't been - GO and no matter how many times you may have seen him - GO again! I will if he is ever back in Dallas! Thanks Barry for giving your fans such joy and happiness! - Sherry Vicksell (Carrollton, Texas) (5/28/2012)

[I loved] every minute! This was a highlight in my life. I am 60 years old and have loved Barry forever, but never had a chance to see him until we were in Vegas this year. I remember (and my kids do, too) cleaning house on Saturday with Barry's RECORD on the RECORD PLAYER. Hopefully, we are returning in January 2012 and I will get to see him again. Everytime I play a CD (still have my record but it has been damaged) of Barry's, I remember that glorious night. Think my husband got a little jealous recently when I told him the concert was one of the biggest highlights in my life... he said he thought he was! Oops!! - Marcia (of Georgia) (9/22/2011)

January 14: It was my Platinum Experience! Watching Barry perform from my VIP Front Row seat it was hard to believe that just minutes before I was actually talking with him. When our photo was handed to me after the show I knew it was real. I wasn't dreaming. Thank you, Barry! I had the time of my life. - Janet Gramlich (Strongsville, Ohio) (11/19/2011)

Barry, I have watched you since you came out in the '70s but have never had the ability to see any of your concerts until now. You are a great entertainer and I have loved your music through the years. I can tell you know music. My sister, Wanda, who passed away in '94 loved your music too. This was the first concert I have had the pleasure of attending and you put your best foot forward. It was great! Your music stands on its own. I am a fan forever! God bless you, Barry. - Betty Rivera (Orlando, FL) (1/21/2011)

Sound system was GREAT for a big arena! - David Clark (Fairmont, WV) (1/30/2011)
Legendary musician and performer Barry Manilow announces a series of first-ever Florida symphony concerts backed by The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra of Punta Gorda, Florida in January of 2011. Beginning on January 20th, and stretching across five major Florida cities, Manilow will bring his greatest hits to the Sunshine State

The Florida concert series is an entirely exclusive and distinct experience from Manilow’s current critically acclaimed Paris Las Vegas residency shows, and features The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra plus Manilow’s Band and Cast from his Las Vegas Show. The concerts, produced in partnership with STILETTO Entertainment and BRE Presents, will mark the first time Manilow has performed with an orchestral accompaniment in Florida.

Recently, Manilow wowed fans in Atlantic City with a one-night-only show backed by the esteemed New York Pops to a sold-out crowd at Caesars Boardwalk Hall. Prior to that, he lit up the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, to rave response.

While in both cities, and in signature Manilow fashion, he was able to raise money and collect instruments for the Manilow Music Project to benefit local school music programs. The Manilow Music Project provides scholarships and musical instruments to secondary and high school music programs throughout the country. More information on the Manilow Music Project can be found at http://www.manilowmusicproject.org.

"I am thrilled to share the stage with such an impressive collection of musicians and bring some of my greatest hits to Florida fans for this exclusive series," says Manilow.

This concert was fantastic!! I have attended concerts by other performers over the years, but the love that the audience had for Barry Manilow and his music could be felt -- something I had never witnessed so intensely before. As a 57-year-old who has enjoyed his songs for many years, my thanks to him for keeping us all a little happier in this world because of his Beautiful Music! You're the best!! - Cindy (of Brooksville, FL) (1/22/2011)

Mr. Manilow is still the best! It's been 18 years since I last saw him so I didn't know what, if anything, would be different. I was so thrilled to see and hear he still has it! Hope to go to Vegas to see him in the future. - Constance Jo Bradley (St. Petersburg, FL) (1/22/2011)

I love to hear Barry sing! Barry projects his love of music and his audience each time he enters the stage. The time "flies" by and you leave the concert feeling as though you were able to spend time with a good friend. I appreciate his talents as a musician, composer, arranger and singer. He has been blessed with such talent and I love him for sharing those gifts with us, his fans! He's made it "Through the Rain" and encourages each of us through his perseverence to not give up even when criticized. Love you, Barry! - Karen E. Seltzer (Spring Hill, FL) (1/23/2011)

This was my first concert here in Florida since moving here last year. Have seen many concerts in Pittsburgh, but this was so special. Barry Manilow never disappoints me! He was awesome and our seats were excellent... the best I have had so far. His songs and the orchestra just touched your heart. He certainly knows how to hold an audience. Hope to see many more shows, but this one was really special. Thank you, Barry, for brightening my life and many others too!! Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas soon. - Toni Wolford (Bradenton, FL) (1/26/2011)

I was lucky enough to attend both the show at the Amway Center and the St. Pete Times Forum and I have to say that while I adore Barry's Vegas shows, nothing can top the emotion and power of one of his arena shows. When I looked around the Forum, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of glowsticks lighting up the dark and the audience's admiration and love for Barry was so obvious. I was surrounded by fans, both young and old; men, women and children... some of whom were experiencing Barry's show for the first time. To see the joy on their faces was very moving. I was at the Forum in 2004 for the Farewell tour, returned for this arena show, and will most definitely go back should he ever return. Wonderful show! Can't say enough good things about it!! - Lori (of Tampa, FL) (1/26/2011)

The Orlando and Tampa shows were the first time I have ever seen Mr. Manilow perform live. I thoroughly enjoyed them both. At the Tampa show, I had participated in the Platinum Experience package so I could meet him. He was very nice, and I am glad that the money goes to a great cause. Barry, I was so pleased with both evenings and someday I hope to get out to Las Vegas to see your show as I have heard they are truly something special. I certainly hope you consider returning to Florida again soon (maybe after the new album is released...?). Wonderful show, wonderful night! - Rose M. Brenna (Zephyrhills, FL) (originally from New England) (2/5/2011)

I purchased tickets on the floor for the concert in Jacksonville, but when we decided to attend the one in Tampa we bought tickets four rows from the top. After the pre-show began one of the women from the promotional team came up and asked us if we were big fans. Of course we are! She said she had tickets lower down if we would follow her. Well, she took us down alright. Straight to the FRONT ROW. What a thrill! Barry was fabulous and my adrenaline was pumping from beginning to end. I will never forget this one. I can relive those memories over and over! - Sharon (of Tennessee) (2/17/2011)

First Show: Loved EVERYTHING about it -- the man, the music, the orchestra, and the big screen! After being a fan foralmost 40 years, I was so excited to see and hear the magnificent Barry Manilow in concert. He opened with "Could It Be Magic," one of my Top 5 Manilow favorites. - Diane J. Barry is the greatest! His choice of songs...it's just perfect. He is a great showman and a genuinely nice person. He is a gifted man! His concerts make me so happy!! - Lisbeth R. Rodgers (of Virginia) (1/29/2011)

Barry is an amazing entertainer! His voice is fantastic. The performance was spirtual and I will never forget it. His facial expressions and little looks into the crowd were adorable! He does not appear to be affected by his greatness, and his warmth and compassion come shining [through] in his concert. AN AMAZING TIME!! - Stacy Shaffer (Davie, FL) (1/31/2011)

My three-1/2 year old son and I had the time of our lives at Barry's recent performance! My little Fanilow sang to "Can't Smile Without You" (his favorite!) and held me tight when my eyes welled up with the slower tunes. What a treat!! - Lisa Stewart (Jupiter, FL) (1/31/2011)

I had great seats and the orchestra was fantastic. Barry's voice was awesome and I had a great time. I even made a couple of signs for him welcoming him back to Miami. - Katie Aldabblan (Miami, Florida) (12/28/2011)

WOW!! What else can I say about the shows in Sunrise and Miami other than that? The shows were so full of energy and the music was amazing! It is humbling to see such an outpouring of admiration, respect, and yes, love for Barry. Highlights for me included "Where Do I Begin," which was so amazingly powerful backed by the orchestra, and "Ready to Take a Chance Again" purely for personal reasons. "Memory" and "When October Goes" had me in tears both nights while "New York City Rhythm" had me dancing in the streets! I have sure missed these arena shows and feel so fortunate to have been able to attend four of them. Hats off to the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, to Barry's band and crew, and especially to Barry himself. The shows may have come and gone but the "Manilow Magic" will live inside of us all forever! - Lori (of Tampa, FL) (1/30/2011)

The show was amazing and Barry was awesome! When Barry walked onto the stage, I said "Oh my God!" ... I was so delighted to see Barry and hear him sing his songs live in concert. His voice was wonderful! When I heard the orchestra play "I Write The Songs," I knew the concert was ending. It seemed too short, because I was enjoying every minute of the show. My favorite was "Forever And A Day." I really love this song so much! Barry, you are THE BEST entertainer! Please come back to Miami again soon! Please!! - Olive Pilarta (Miami, Florida) (3/24/2011)

February 19: I loved the show, it was a fantastic experience. Smaller venue than The O2 in London UK, but the songs chosen were lovely. Wish I could have gone a few times! My favourite song of all time which Barry sang there is "Weekend in New England," I just love that song, the words are lovely. I have many favourites over the years and have been a fan since he started in the early '70s. I was lucky enough to get second row seats. Can't wait for Barry to come back to the UK, his shows are amazing and he's so sincere to all his fans. - Mary Williams (Wales, United Kingdom) (10/27/2011)

February 27: The show was excellent! Barry, I was impressed on your involvement with musical instruments for schools. My son who will be attending grad school also was in orchestra from the 6th grade all the way through high school. He was very talented and played with the Seattle Jr. Symphony Orchestra for three years playing a viola. Music was his life through all those teenage years. Thank you for being [here] today for the kids. I told my son about the concert and he too is impressed. Hopefully someday he will give back to society as you have. - Arlene Jimenez (Everett, WA) (3/1/2011)

February 25: Barry's music was just as powerful as it was [when I saw him in 1994]. I was really close - 3rd row center - and I could feel all his musical energy. I thank Barry for walking to my life story and I thank his grandpa for pushing him into the music business. Barry is a gift to all of us!! - Sara Wertman (Greensboro, North Carolina; originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina) (3/19/2011)

March 19: Barry has such stage presence, and that voice could fill all of Las Vegas! My daughter and her boyfriend treated me to the concert in Vegas, and we treasured every second. We especially enjoyed the moment he shared his personal story of his grandfather taking him to Manhattan to record his voice for 25 cents, and viewing the video was special. Grandpa knew what he was talking about! I whistled Barry's songs around the house for days afterward. I have been a fan for many years, and was thrilled to attend my first Barry concert. I remain a true fan! I also wanted to wish him the best birthday ever today (June 17, 2011)! March 25-26: I just spent the weekend seeing Barry's show at the beautiful Paris Las Vegas. The shows were outstanding and two words kept coming to mind: speechless and breathtaking. The Paris venue and Barry's performance is breathtakingly beautiful and might I also add Barry looks more handsome each time I see him. Barry's voice is top notch and he conveys such passion and power in all his lyrics and melodies. It always amazes me how he so adroitly switches from singing so powerfully to soft and tender. I find that breathtaking. His show takes us on a smoothly paced journey with his popular classics and several selections from his romantic album "Greatest Love Songs Of All Time". He also shares the sweet story of how his grandfather took him to a record-your-own-voice booth as a small child and then shares that recording of "Nature Boy" with us. I also loved jazzy "Brooklyn Blues" and the audience sing along to "Can't Smile Without You" and "I Write The Songs." Barry puts so much emotion and energy into each performance and I am on the edge of my seat and speechless as he holds those long notes. Barry also seems humbled and surprised at all the applause and standing ovations - Barry you deserve it all!! As always I cannot wait to go back and See the Show Again because every time is like the first. Congratulations, Barry, on one year at the Paris and I wish you many more! - Linda Foster (3/28/2011)

March 26: There is not a bad seat in the house [but for me] this was the first time...FRONT ROW! When Barry came out singing you could feel the magic in the air! He came across the stage with so much passion that it engulfs you and HOLDS you! He gives from his heart and soul through his music. When he came my way to his left I offered my right hand and he accepted it! I held his hand for only seconds, but I felt the LOVE and PASSION in his hands, the ones that have brought so much joy and happiness to me for over 37 years. THANK YOU, Barry, for giving me a part of you! - Pamela Hight (Corpus Christi, Texas) (3/31/2011)

March 25: Barry, this will forever be my most, memorable concert as this night, March 25th, 2011, I had my first Meet and Greet with you. I had entered the contest, through the BarryManilowHomePage via Swagbucks, and, my email was chosen right on St. Patrick's Day, 2011. When I received the email confirming I won, my mouth just dropped, and I felt as though I had just rode a roller coaster! The concert was FABULOUS! Seven rows away and it felt like front row to me! My son took photos for me, so that I could enjoy the show. It has been a little over a year and a half now, but I have never come down off of that cloud! And I thank you SO much for taking the time to meet with me, and my son. This was the same night of your first year anniversary celebration at the Paris. Just sitting here typing this, it all comes right back to me! I will never forget this wonderful night as long as I live. Thank you again and hope to see you at the show again one day! - Laura Scott (Las Vegas/Henderson, Nevada) (10/16/2012)

April 8: To steal a phrase, the man and his music! As a longtime fan I always enjoyed Barry Manilow's songs. The lyrics are meaningful and the melody is always memorable. But -- a big but -- seeing his concert really puts it over the top. Barry Manilow shares his soul in this concert. The house was packed, all the fans sang along on a few classics. The band and performers were great. But in the end, it was getting to know this enormously talented man on a personal level that deeply moved us all. At his core - the love of his grandfather, the clear love of his music, his humility and wit, culminate in his love of country and family by establishing his foundation to provide instruments to our beleagured schools across America. My husband and I will be donating a guitar this month. It is joyful to leave the performance with a real, very personal sense of this lovely man. I like Barry Manilow's music and now I know I like the man even more. Thank you. - Shirley LaChance (Henderson, Nevada) (4/9/2011)

April 10: Barry, I can't tell you how excited I was when I realized you were going to sing your new song, "Bring On Tomorrow." I sat on the edge of my seat through the whole song, your performance was truly magical! I think it's one of he most beautiful songs I've ever heard! I can't wait to hear the rest of the album (15 Minutes)!! - Kurt Sedlmeir (Henderson, Nevada) (4/12/2011)

April 8: I've wanted to see Barry Manilow in concert since the '70s. Hearing about his grandfather and singing his tribute to him was very touching. I loved everything about the concert; having two daughters one of which that thrived in the music programs in school made me very happy to hear what Barry is doing to help save the music programs. Like so many others, we too have old instruments not being used. I'm thinking of asking our school to start a program to donate or sell back instruments to the school or parents with students beginning the music program. What a great way to give back! If every celebrity would care so much about the youth of today, we would have less kids out on the streets getting in trouble. I had seats in the upper middle section of the Paris Theatre and was very happy how well you could see. It is hard for many people today to be able to afford tickets to a concert, but with Barry's offer to bring in an instrument and get a ticket, how could any Barry Manilow fan not get to see the concert today? What an awesome opportunity for all fans and kids! Barry's voice continues to sound as awesome singing the old great songs as 25+ years ago. If I get back in Vegas again, I'll be back to see Barry again. Worth every cent! - Linda Benjamin (Montrose, Iowa) (4/16/2011)

April 8: Going to Vegas and seeing Barry was a dream come true. He has lost NONE of his appeal or ability to captivate (over the years). Love you, Barry. Will be back to Vegas just for you! - Margaret Watson (Airdrie, Scotland) (5/2/2011)

May 5: I went to Barry's concert last night with my Mum and my partner and cried and laughed. In uncertain times with so much sadness and madness in the world, there is one positive constant - the genius of Barry and the warming effect the man and his music has on his fans and friends who look forward to welcoming him home to the UK on a regular basis. Looking forward to the next time! - Elaine Grisdale (Manchester, England) (5/9/2011)

May 5: Travelled from Glasgow to see Barry. Took my 10-year-old daughter who, by the end of the concert, loved him and thinks he is fab! I have always loved your music, Barry, and that's why I drove 8 hours to go see you. Your concert was brilliant. Special praise to your [staff] who gave us complimentary tickets near the front. It was fantastic, so thanks again. Great night! - Irene Stewart (Glasgow, Scotland) (5/16/2011)

May 4: I had wanted to go to a Barry concert for sooo long! That opportunity came in May 2011. The tickets were bought a while beforehand and the wait was painful! Due to finances we got tickets up near the roof but as long as I could hear his voice I thought it would be fine. The night arrived and to add to the excitement our tickets were upgraded and we were moved closer! The concert was everything I had hoped for and more!! The supporting group, Straight No Chaser, were fabulous which was an added bonus. Barry sang to me and me alone! Thank you, Barry, for being the true gent you are. You give people inspiration without realising it. The passion you have for your work is immense and it shows in the fabulous work you do. Keep up the good work and we want you over here more! Love, thanks and hugs... Jackie Mills (Uxbridge, Middlesex, England) (7/23/2011)

Legendary showman Barry Manilow announces a unique musical extravaganza at the O2 Arena. He will be performing all of his most loved classics and excerpts from his new album "The Greatest Love Songs of All Time". He will be joined on stage by one of the most pre-eminent orchestras performing in the world today, The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The idea for the two to perform together was born through his sell-out headline performance at the prestigious Proms In The Park. The Independent said of this performance: "Barry Manilow is one of the giants of world show business." The Times concurs that: "Manilow's magic remains alive and thriving." Barry Manilow says: "I was honoured to be asked to perform at Proms in the Park last year, it was a huge thrill to have been a part of such an iconic British event. It will be a sheer joy to perform again for my British fans at the O2 Arena alongside one of the best orchestras in the world, but this time the show will even bigger and even better and I'm planning to blow the roof off of the arena!" (ticketmaster.co.uk)

If you were one of the lucky 40,000 able to get a ticket before the sold out sign went up at The Proms In The Park... you know the thrill of hearing Barry sing when backed by an amazing orchestra. Well, get ready London... because you have a second chance to experience that thrill. He's coming back. That's right. He's coming back to London. BUT... this time not just a few songs... but with a complete concert evening of hits, plus The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, plus his band, plus his singers, plus you! That's right... Barry with The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. It all happens starting May 4th... 2011 at London's O2 Arena. May 27-28: Wishes do come true! I got to see Barry and he performed "Bring On Tomorrow" this past weekend at the beautiful Paris theater in Las Vegas. It was presented with panache as only Barry can do. This is a beautiful song, lovely romantic lyrics, something Barry and Enoch should be so proud of. Once 15 Minutes drops, it would be nice if another song from the album could be added as well to the show. Barry, as you could tell the audience embraced you each night and just loved your songs and we all just loved "Bring On Tomorrow." I saw a sparkle in your eyes so I know you were very pleased like a proud Papa. I enjoyed all the songs Barry showcased for us, like "Mandy," "Somewhere In The Night," "Bandstand Boogie," "Weekend in New England," "Copacabana," "Nature Boy," "I Am Your Child." Barry really rocked to "Brooklyn Blues" and "New York City Rhythm." The "Can't Smile Without You" sing along was great. We have some good singers in the audience! As always the show was over way too soon so I have to come back again! Thank you for a wonderful weekend and I am waiting now for June 14th to get my hands on 15 Minutes so I can run to my car and put it in the CD player and Turn The Radio Up! Oh, I just have to say the blue velvet jacket is a favorite of mine so don’t retire it for a while, okay? You look very handsome. - Linda (of Virginia) (5/31/2011)

I had the opportunity to see Barry the weekend of Memorial Day. What an outstanding weekend and concerts! Barry, you were brilliant and sounded so amazing. You have brought so many friends into my life. I have met so many wonderful people at your concerts and we have remained friends. We even had a luncheon to celebrate you and your success with "15 Minutes." I thank you for bringing a smile to my face, warming my heart, helping me to face my fears, and bringing so many people into my life, all because of you and your music. - Mary Kloss (Chicago, Illinois) (7/23/2011)

I feel like I grew up with Barry Manilow. I lost my mom in December of 1973 (I had just turned 14 the month before on November 7th). I listened to Barry for a long time simply to relax and think of something besides losing. I hid for a long time, then got the corage to come "out" and face life. My life! I still miss my mom, but I will always remember Barry as my stepping stone to continue my life. I have always wanted to say Thank You in person but I'm pleased I can at least [do so here]. Barry, I thoroughly enjoyed your concert and will always cherish it in my memories. Thanks again! - Danny Work (Mobile, Alabama) (8/29/2011)

June 10: This Paris Las Vegas show was special because I did the Platinum Package, so I got to meet Barry after waiting 37 years. I finally got to tell him all the things I wanted to tell him EXCEPT that I love him. Darn it all! But I think he knows that already!! - Kristie YBarbo (Lumberton, Texas) (10/12/2011)

July 1-3: Thank you, Barry, for three extraordinary shows this past weekend. I so enjoyed hearing "Our Love is Here to Stay," "Somewhere in the Night," "This One’s for You," "Even Now," "New York City Rhythm," "Brooklyn Blues," "I am your Child," "Nature Boy," "Copacabana" and "Mandy," just to name a few. Also hearing "Bring on Tomorrow" and "15 Minutes" was wonderful. The audience just loved them as well. They are just beautiful songs sung beautifully. I loved "Could It Be Magic" and got some great photos with my new camera. It was a very, very, special moment on Sunday when you sang "Let Freedom Ring," I had goose bumps! I had a very special weekend and I have you to thank for that. Thanks also to your band and backup singers, a great ensemble cast!! - Linda ( from Virginia) (7/5/2011)

July 1: The show was fabulous! I loved every second of it, and Barry's voice life is as incredible live as it is recorded. The show flowed nicely and I enjoyed myself so much. The new CD, 15 Minutes - wow. It's brilliant! The music, the lyrics, the theme. I love it! - Petra (of Maryland) (9/2/2011)

I'd love to get the chance to meet Barry one day to just say THANKS! Thanks for the memories. I was born in 1974. Barry has been with me all my life. We're going back to Vegas for Labor Day Weekend. Looking forward to another show September 2nd! - Danny Rizzo (Chicago, Illinois) (7/14/2011)

I spent two weekends and six nights at Barry's concerts. He is awesome! Even [though] I have all his DVDs, he still moves me to tears with each familiar song. He stands tall, his eyes shining, his voice wonderful beyond compare. Everything LIVE! My favorite part is his singing "Nature Boy" after playing the old scratched record by 4-year-old BABY BARRY. He puts emphasis on "the greatest thing you ever learn is to love and be loved in return." I think I know how seriously Barry takes these words. He is always working hard to make this world a better place, and he never shuns what he can do. In addition, I feel strongly sentimental as he introduces "15 Minutes" and "Bring on Tomorrow". Barry is my mentor for life. I can never thank him enough. - Marcie Cheng (of Taiwan) (7/23/2011)

Loved the concert! Barry's voice was pretty darn good after all this time. Very emotional. The best 60th birthday present ever. Thanks Barry! - JoAnn Strube (Albany, New York) (8/25/2011)

The concert was great! We never wanted Barry to stop singing. He could have sung all night and we would have stayed. I hope that he will come again to our area - maybe to the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. I had great seats in Saratoga - Row 3! - Rosemary Pryne (Scotia-Glenville, New York) (8/27/2011)

This particular show was so extra special for me. We had front row seats right in front of Barry! I, too, could sit there for hours just listening to this wonderful man's catalog of beautiful, Beautiful Music. I loved each and every song he sang this night, especially those gems from the past like "Riders To The Stars" and "Somewhere Down The Road." I wanted to "toast" The Man with my water bottle when he toasted us, his Fans, with "Old Friends" and then went on to sing a most beautiful and meaningful "Forever and A Day." We heard another beauty from "15 MINUTES"... "Bring On Tomorrow." WHAT AN UNFORGETTABLE SHOW. I think Barry felt the LOVE!! - Irene Van Gunst (Maywood, New Jersey) (9/6/2011)

Barry sounded great and it was a perfect place to see him. Brought my hubby, son and niece. Converted a couple of Fanilows. Inspired me to finally go to Vegas in November '11. - Maria (of Niagara Falls, New York) (9/15/2011)

Due to extreme weather conditions, the performance of Barry Manilow and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra was rescheduled from Wednesday, August 24th to Friday, August 26th

I am so delighted that Barry and his talanted crew decided to do a rain date. We were all so disappointed that Toronto was stricken with such a storm on Wednesday, August 24th. 2011. Barry, you made so many people feel like we really counted when the announcement was made [to reschedule for August 26th]. Thanks to you and your entire crew. As far as your music is concerned, I think that you are wonderful. The songs that you write, touch the very heart of a person. Your voice, your comic side, the sharing of some of your personal life, your words to the audience... make all of us feel so good inside that our world is blessed with your talents. I would agree with you, your Grandfather was a very insightful man and how he, along with you, have made this world a better place. Thanks for just being you. Great performance! - C. Yule (Cookstown, Ontario, Canada) (8/27/2011)

[What I liked about the concert was] Barry's excitement, energy and love for his music. I love Barry Manilow's music. I have loved it ever since I was 14 years old! That's when I first heard "Mandy" and it made me fall in love with Barry Manilow and his music immediately. - Rosemary Birk (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (9/13/2011)

With worldwide sales of more than 80 million records, BARRY MANILOW's success is a benchmark in popular music. He is ranked as the top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time, according to R&R (Radio & Records), with no less than 25 consecutive Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1975 and 1983. The list includes all-time favourites that Manilow still sings today: "Mandy," "It’s A Miracle," "Could It Be Magic," "I Write the Songs," "Tryin’ To Get the Feeling Again," "This One’s For You," "Weekend In New England," "Looks Like We Made It," "Can’t Smile Without You," "Even Now," and the Grammy Award-winning "Copacabana (At the Copa)." Rolling Stone crowned him "a giant among entertainers... the showman of our generation," and Frank Sinatra summed up Manilow best when Ol’ Blue Eyes told the British press, "He’s next."

It was my very first time seeing Barry Manilow, and I liked EVERYTHING about his concert! He is truly a very down-to-earth person and he makes his audience feel good and special. My dream of getting to see him in concert had come true! I hope that I get to meet him in person to thank him for touching so many lives throughout the years! Barry, you really have a heart of gold and a sensitive side to you. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with your lifetime fans (me included!). I hope you can come back real soon. Thank you again for a night I will never forget. God Bless you Barry! Much love, Trudee (of Youngstown, Ohio) (8/28/2011)

Barry just gets better with age. What a timeless voice! - Lottie Ransbottom (New Concord, Ohio) (8/29/2011)

Barry sings from his heart. His voice is outstanding! I love how he supports music in schools! Music is so important in a child's life. This was the first concert I went to and I can't wait to see him again. Planning on going to see Barry at Paris Las Vegas. Can't wait! I also enjoy listening to his music and I've added "15 Minutes" to my collection. Thank you, Barry, for a wonderful concert!! - Shannon Slaven (Youngstown, Ohio) (8/29/2011)

I loved EVERYTHING! Barry is awesome! Concert was excellent!! This was my fifth concert seeing him and it was my favorite. I'm really hoping that Barry returns to Ohio soon! - Jennifer (of Wadsworth, Ohio) (8/29/2011)

I have seen Barry in concert 46 times. The concert in Youngstown was number 46 for my 64th birthday. This was one of the BEST concerts I have seen. Barry was so FANTASTIC! I would love to be able to meet Barry and thank him for all the help and blessings he has given to me during my life. I Love You Barry! Thanks so much!! - Judy Snyder (Delaware, Ohio) (9/7/2011)

I've LOVED Barry all of my life! I am 49 and have been in his fan club since I was 9! This past August 2011, Barry came to the Covelli Center in Youngstown, Ohio which was only about 10 miles from my home. It was my first time seeing Him and He was absolutely AWESOME! His music was unbelievable live!! I had a backstage pass to see him but he was running late and didn't have time to meet any of us (disappointed...but when he came out on that stage and began to sing, everything was forgiven!) I was in the 3rd row and could see him perfectly. He was the second best thing that happened to me in my life, the first being the birth of my daughter! I waited in the parking lot hopeful that he would have stopped to signed my album (his very first one that I brought with me), but he did not. I watched his SUV pull away with hopes that He will return one day soon to Youngstown, Ohio, and maybe I could have another chance to meet him. That would make my life complete! I Love You, Barry!! - Mary Burwell (Hermitage, Pennsylvania) (12/1/2011)

[What I liked about the concert was] just seeing Barry. He makes the space I'm in happy! - Andrea Detoro Rupeka (Youngstown, Ohio) (3/12/2016)

When you feel every possible emotion at a concert you know it's a Barry Manilow concert! This was my 7th Barry concert dating back to 1978, having seen him in Toronto, Michigan, and now Windsor. What a gift he is! Every song takes you back to a particular time in your life and you can relive all the emotions again. I finally had decent seats (2nd row) and it was just amazing! He is a consummate showman, a gentleman and a giant talent. It's like he has set all our lives to music and we can celebrate over and over again. It was among the highlights of my life! - Wendy King (Barrie, Ontario, Canada) (8/31/2011)

I enjoyed how Barry actually talked to the audience. When Barry talked about how lyrics often mean more than just a 'love song' and often mean different things to different people, I absolutely related to that right away. I lost a very good friend to a drunk driver shortly after the song 'Somewhere Down The Road' was released. It quickly became one of my favourite songs because it reminded me so much of the friend that I lost, and it kept reminding me that we would be together again some day. And when that was actually the song that he was talking about, I was blown away! I found Barry to be very personable and he made me feel like I was a teenager again! - Joanne (of Niagara Falls, Ontario) (8/31/2011)

This was my first Manilow concert! It was perfect!! The Music, the lights; I didn't want to go home. I have always enjoyed Barry Manilow's music but never had the opportunity to attend. I'm looking forward to anothor one of his concerts soon! - Clarice Ward-Baker (Highland Park, Michigan) (10/12/2011)

I just love Barry's music. From day one! American Bandstand was what I ran home to after school to watch on TV. Barry's voice has always been deep and sincere. He IS the Man of Music. His rapport with the audience is true. I feel that Barry has always had an emptiness and void in his life, like many of us have, and it is in the words, voice, and mannerism that all fans of Barry can relate to him. He knows how others feel. I can't really put it into words what he does to me, but I feel sad, yet happy, when he sings. Seeing him in concert has been a lifelong wish. This concert was exactly what I expected. Seeing him in person was on my Bucket List. I would see him again and again if I could. His talent far surpasses what he probably thinks it does. He IS Music...from the soul. Angels must revel at the sound of his voice. Thank you, Barry. - Lydie Thompson (Perolia, Ontario, Canada) (10/15/2011)

This was my first and only Barry Manilow concert. I had wanted to see him since 5th grade in 1978. I'm so grateful that 34 years later, I finally got my wish. And man was he AWESOME!! I was so thrilled to see him that I cried. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MR. MANILOW!! - Rachel Capper-Chapman (Adrian, Michigan) (10/25/2012)

September 3-4: Wow, what an amazing time I had this past weekend at Barry’s shows at the beautiful Paris Las Vegas! Barry was having so much fun and the audience embraced hearing all his songs especially from his new album 15 Minutes: "15 Minutes" and "Bring on Tomorrow." When Barry sang "Our Love Is Here to Stay" from his album
The Greatest Love Songs of All Time, it was very romantic. I loved hearing jazzy "Brooklyn Blues," "Bandstand Boogie," "Can't Smile Without You," "Could It Be Magic," "Mandy," "I Made It Through The Rain," "This One’s For You," "Nature Boy" and "I Am Your Child." Barry, you sing your heart out for us every time and I just have to tell you how much we appreciate all you do. The production is outstanding! "Copacabana" was amazing and "It’s A Miracle" (with streamers) was the perfect ending to the evening. I did not want you to leave! Thanks for waving to me and blowing me a kiss. ONE NIGHT ONLY in Washington, DC!

What a wonderful evening we had filled with Beautiful Music. We had the classic songs of Barry's, a '70s song ("How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"), and a song from 15 Minutes ("Bring on Tomorrow"). It was a party atmosphere from the get go and continued until the end of the show; there literally was 'dancing in the aisles'. Barry was so engaging, sweet and witty, and he captivated the audience. I enjoyed hearing "Mandy," "Copacabana," "I am Your Child," "Nature Boy," "Brooklyn Blues," "All the Time," "When October Goes," "Can't Smile Without You," "I Write The Songs," just to name a few. Barry also mentioned the work he is doing on behalf of the Atrial Fibrillation cause and the Manilow Music Project. The orchestra was beautiful as was the song "One Voice" with a choir. Thank you to Barry and his ensemble cast, and to the orchestra and choir – I had a great time. - Linda Foster (9/15/2011)

I have never had the extra dollars needed to travel to see Barry perform in concert. When listening to his music on CDs I would sometimes think out loud and tell the LORD: wouldn't it be great to one day hear him sing in person? I thank the LORD for giving Barry the most beautiful voice. To be able to see Barry in concert is on my "bucket list." Finally, it happened. I heard and saw him the other night at the Warner Theatre. It will be a night my husband and I will never forget. I don't think I stopped smiling the entire night. Barry has not lost one note with age and I feel fortunate and thankful to God for making Barry's trip to DC possible. Of course, I learned about the heart condition that Barry has and his taking the time to make others aware of this disease. He is not alone and it is important to share with others when you can. Again, the concert was nothing less than spectacular and I'll never forget it! - Deb Belotti (Leesburg, Virginia) (9/16/2011)

Wanted to thank Barry for a show I will never forget in Washington DC just a few weeks ago. From the opening of "It's a Miracle" to the closing with "One Voice," Barry had this audience eating out of his hand! They were crazy about him and on their feet constantly showing him how much they loved and appreciated him and his music! I've been to a lot of shows over the years and this was the best audience I've been in quite awhile! Barry seemed to feed off our energy and he was on fire! He sang a few songs I had not heard in awhile like "All The Time," "When October Goes" (and yes, Barry, you hit that lost note), and "One Voice." Loved hearing some new naughty remarks and seeing Barry looking relaxed and loving the audience loving him! His voice was perfect and all was right with the world for 90 minutes!! Thanks for doing what you do, Barry! Thanks for sharing a part of your personal life as well to help others and to get the word out about AFib. I'm sure your efforts will help many! I treated my sister to this show for her birthday and all she kept saying was, "I just want to hear One Voice!" Thanks for doing that one that night, Barry! She was in heaven and reminded me why I love you and your music so very much. What an evening to remember! - Deanna Bell (of North Carolina) (9/27/2011)

September 16: My pals (from the '70s) and I have all turned 50 within the last year or so, and decided to celebrate together in Vegas. We wanted to see a show and looked up all the available attractions. When we saw that Barry Manilow was there, we KNEW we had to see him again [as we had seen him together in the '70s]. What a cool way to celebrate our birthdays! We had a blast at the show, and probably sang along to every song we knew! I am a violin teacher, so I especially appreciate Barry's efforts to bring music to kids by organizing the donations of instruments to schools. Barry's show in 2011 was every bit as wonderful as I remember his show [in the '70s]. - Kris Morrison (Ogden, Utah) (9/19/2011)

October 9: On October 8th, Barry confirmed what we all had heard... that he would be leaving Las Vegas on Dec. 11th... He went into detail about items that had happened lately that "shook him up" and he said "sometimes you need to leave to be missed." The October 9th concert was very special to me because of those words. From a fan standpoint, his leaving will be heartbreaking because he will be more than missed ... he is missed the moment we leave the show room!! But for himself, I can understand. Seven years in Las Vegas when he was almost going to semi-retire. He has given a lot. So every song he sang October 9th was even more meaningful and his voice was never better. There will be a lot of sadness at the December 11th concert but I wouldn't miss it for the world and no doubt, THAT concert will be my new favorite!! - Irene Stanek (North Hollywood, California) (10/11/2011)

October 14: I was a Platinum guest and finally introduced myselt to the Man of the Hour! I identified myself as the person to his "beer invitation" of 1976. After 35 years , I flew through the New England stars to touch the desert sky with him. I loved the seats, the venue, the wild Friday night sold-out crowd. I always remember the finer moments in life - this one qualified as a lifetime treasure! Wishing Barry nothing but the best! - Toni Ann (of Massachusetts) (11/22/2011)

My mom and I have seen Barry about 12 times together and I have seen him twice without her. He is amazing! It has been a treat for me to have seen him change from the big sparkly shows when he was younger, to the more laid back 'evenings with Barry' now. One thing that has not changed at all, is the amazing entertainer and performer he is. He is warm, endearing, funny and genuinely humbled by his fans and the incredible vibe that is almost tangible from the crowd. Barry has meant more to me and my family than words can express. His music has pulled us through some miracles. He is a part of our lives that we cherish and hold very dear to our hearts. I was honored to shake his hand in Vegas as he came out on stage. It was great! Thanks, Barry, for giving me over three decades of great music and memories. I will cherish them always. I look forward to being front and center in a few weeks when he comes back to Pittsburgh! - Jennifer Lackey (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) (8/21/2012)

November 11-13: I was very fortunate to be able to see 3 shows at the beautiful Paris theater. I enjoyed celebrating my birthday and seeing Barry perform his amazing show. I thought that he was connecting so well with the audiences and I saw many waving red glow sticks throughout the entire evening! There were many standing ovations and lots of applause. I enjoyed hearing jazzy "Brooklyn Blues," "I Made It Through the Rain," "Nature Boy," "I Am Your Child," "Daybreak," "Could It Be Magic," "Bandstand Boogie," "New York City Rhythm," "Fifteen Minutes" and "Bring on Tomorrow" especially. Also, "Can't Smile Without You" and "I Write The Songs." Asking for audience participation is always fun. These shows will live with me for a long time as they are most likely the last Paris shows I will see. I think Barry must also be reflecting on his long Vegas career because when I saw him look out at the audience each night I believe he is putting all the feedback and emotions in his memories as well. He has a special talent for making many people very happy! Thank you Barry for everything! - Linda Foster (11/15/2011)

November 11: [What I liked about the show was] the energy, the music, and Barry Manilow's showmanship. Always a great show! - Michael Brown (Phoenix, Arizona) (11/19/2011)

Favorite Show (November 11): I have attended 8 concerts at the Paris, as well as a Platinum Experience in May. I love the energy Barry conveys with his audience and fellow performers alike. I have great appreciation for his compositions to date including his earlier work as well as those yet to be written -- all have sustained me through life. His voice is absolutely breathtaking. 15 Minutes has been my travelling CD in the car. I plan to see Barry in the UK in May. All Stiletto employees encountered have been delightful; and I am grateful for keeping Barry available to us. As Barry goes through surgery/rehab the next few months, he remains my prayers. Godspeed! - Kathleen Beverage (Lincoln, Nebraska) (12/11/2011)

November 20: I've loved Barry's music since I was about 10 (in the late '70s). But I had never seen him concert. When making out my bucket list recently, I put seeing him at the top. I had no idea what to expect. It ended up being the best the concert I've ever seen, and at that point I went from loving his music, to falling head over heals for HIM! The show has everything... music, passion, a real SHOW. It just had everything. True entertainment. Being in the third row, I could not believe how close he was. Tears began to flow. But they were happy tears! Am doing my best to see him again and again, if the opportunity arises. Would absolutely love to meet him someday, but who wouldn't!? Thanks for the lifetime of joy! - Cyndi (of Seattle, Washington) (12/26/2011)

November 20: It was an awesome show! Really enjoyed it. Had a great time. It was my 40th birthday and Barry made it really special!! - Michelle Thorn (London, England) (12/18/2011)

November 18: I finally had seats in the front row! Being that close to Barry was simply amazing. I've seen him so many times in concerts since the first one in 1978, but each time is like the first. My excitement has never waned. It was extra-special that the show on November 18 was being taped... my "Barry-buddy" from California (she lives in Tennessee now, though) was able to come out to Nevada for a quick visit, and she was in the front row with me. We hope that the show comes out on DVD soon. I still get goosebumps when he sings "This One's For You" since years ago I saw him on Dinah Shore and she asked about the song... who was it for? His reply was so sweet... "well, Grandpa died." I remember that every time I hear the song, and now that he acknowledges it as such it's extra special for me. I'm so glad I've had the chance to see him so many times. - Cheryl Whitt (Las Vegas, Nevada) (3/23/2012)

December 10: I love the beginning, when the MANILOW lights come on and Barry walks out, and I love him singing below his Midnight Special appearance. Great show! - N.B. Rapoport (Las Vegas, Nevada) (12/10/2011)

December 9: Mr. Manilow was my first entry on my "Bucket List"! After years of enjoying his music which I am grateful still continues, I treated myself to a concert in Las Vegas on December 9th. Seeing him was all I dreamed it would be! Through tears and mascara, I wept my way through the wonderful performance. I filled a bag in the gift shop ... When asked about my experience, I simply say "It was the best thing I ever did for myself." I am so happy that this dream was fulfilled! I wish Mr. Manilow the best and hope he knows that his music continues to touch lives! - Tracey Hood (of Louisiana) (12/11/2011)

December 10-11: Thank you to Barry for two extraordinary shows this past weekend. The crowds were wonderful especially on Saturday night. The show just had that something extra special and magical. I saw many waving red glow sticks all night long. I enjoyed hearing all of the song selections but especially the Christmas segment with faux snowflakes falling on us. One snowflake landed in my lap! The lighting and set design was gorgeous. I enjoyed hearing the "15 Minutes" contest winner Malia perform two songs for us. She is one talented young lady. On Sunday it was fun to see the Stiletto family brought on stage and introduced to us – it does take so very many people to produce your incredible show. Thanks, Barry, for seven wonderful years in Vegas. Even though the evening was bittersweet, I had a smile on my face all night long, and I was so glad "I was there"! - Linda Foster (of Virginia) (12/13/2011)

December 9-11: The words are difficult to find that would adequately describe these final 3 Paris shows. Yes, they were amazing (to say the least), but it was so much more than that. I am certain that I experienced every emotion possible, from not being able to stop smiling to being at the mercy of my tears. Of course, all aspects of the show were done to perfection and despite a recent trip to the UK, Barry's voice was in tip top shape! The entire weekend was a bittersweet mixture of laughter and tears shared between friends, old and new. I personally can't think of a better way he could have ended this amazing ride than the one he chose: "Where Does The Time Go" followed by bringing every person responsible up on stage to thank them. When that curtain came down for the last time and I watched Barry disappear from view, my heart was whispering "don't go" while shouting "here's to the future" at the same time. I don't know if that future will include any of the upcoming arena shows for me, but I will always be grateful that I was there for opening weekend at the Paris and there to see the final curtain go down. "Thank you" just doesn't seem adequate to express the gratitude I feel for Barry and everyone involved in making these last sevn years so special for me, so I bid farewell to this amazing ride with hopes that they somehow know. Here's to your future being brighter than ever, Mr. Manilow ...and thanks for lighting up my life for so many years! - Lori Domingo (Tampa, Florida) (12/13/2011)

First Barry Concert (December 11): I loved the person I saw -- Barry Manilow -- the warmth, humor, humility, sparkling blue eyes... everything! I saw a man who has not only spectacular talent, but what seems to me to be a warm, kind heart and a great sense of humor. Although I expected Barry to be absolutely wonderful, even I was surprised at how strong and clear his voice is... BEAUTIFUL! I even teared up a bit when he did "I Am A Child" and "I Write the Songs" - my favorites. I have always been a fan but this was the first time I was able to make it to a show, and I knew it would be a special one, since it was #1000 - boy, was I right! Truly, an amazing talent, an unforgettable entertainer, and what I am convinced was a beautiful human being. Loved the show and love YOU Barry!! Merry, Merry Christmas to you and the best that life has to offer. Wish you a speedy recovery from your surgery and hope to have the privilege of seeing you perform again! You're the absolute BEST!! - Judy Carney (Reno, Nevada) (12/13/2011)

December 7: What we liked - Everything! Barry is such a showman and talented musical composer. Tops in Las Vegas. When family came recently, I took them to see him of course and enjoyed his concert once again. As a minor league part of that American Bandstand crowd, when Barry came on the scene he brought something quite unique. Love songs, Rock and Roll and everthing in between. Living in Las Vegas, I frequent a fair amount of shows. Barry is right up there with the Rat Pack (I mean the real ones!) and many of those classic showman of Las Vegas that are no longer here. He is beyond, way beyond, the current crop of stars. He is class and style. - Joe Osisek (Las Vegas, Nevada) (12/16/2011)

December 10: Both my husband and I thought [this] show was the greatest. Barry, you are such a champ. We knew you were physically hurting but you kept going. Your story about you and your grandfather touched my heart. I cried because I did not have a chance to see or hangout with mine. We hope you get well soon and please write more music! Happy Holidays!! - Thong Bartlett (Las Vegas, Nevada) (12/14/2011)

December 8: The show at Paris Las Vegas was a Class Act - a total package with the talented Barry Manilow at the center who was complemented by an impressive band and back-up singers, beautiful lighting, and the wonderful Paris Theatre. The Dec. 8, 2011, show was special because we had the opportunity to take our two elementary school age children to a quality show with quality music. Watching their expressions throughout was priceless. They paid a lot of attention to the details - moving pianos, the different instruments, the back-up singers' clothes, changes in lighting, how streamers and paper "snow" fell from the ceiling. They also really listened to the biographical components that Barry shared about his grandpa, high school orchestra, music in schools, and donating instruments. They left with a lot of excitement and questions. They really believe that Barry saw them in the crowd. It was fun to try to understand how our children viewed the show and how they thought Barry's best songs were "Copacabana" and "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer." - Holly (of Las Vegas, Nevada) (3/15/2012)
