January 29: Barry, it was wonderful to see you well again after a bout with bronchitis. I wish you well and hope you will stay well; I was concerned about you! Nevertheless, your voice sounded great despite that you were still coughing mildly. I was so moved by your apologetic gesture to those of us who missed your January 23rd show and shows from that week. You did not have to... We love you and understand and just wish you well. I liked the part where you played your old video featuring you, the very young, great-looking Barry singing "Mandy" and you singing with it. It is how I have first known you and since then have become a Fanilow. This brings up lots of great memories. Having come from another country, I missed your earlier concerts but sure glad now I can attend your current concerts. I liked the entire show, the energy of it. The connection with your adoring fans is so amazing. Like a young adoring fan, I sang, swayed, waved my glow stick, and danced with your music. What a thrill! Loved them all! Also fun to watch everybody in the theater sharing the joy that you are well and just being pure Fanilows! I was among those who waited outside in the cold just to catch a closer glimpse of you and wave goodbye as your black SUV drove away after the show! - Brenda M. (of New Jersey) (1/30/2013)

February 23: Finally, got to see this great artist, performing live! Always a fan! Coming from a musical family, I could appreciate his genius. A young Chopin, a truly gifted musician, composer, and incredible performer. I have seen others, but none compare to the magic of Barry Manilow. He is one of the greats. I hope he knows how much he is loved and admired. What a showman!! My brother is a singer strongly influenced by Manilow, and he sings and sounds just like him! We grew up with Barry's unforgettable music. It was a thrill to see him, and I will cherish it! Bravo, Barry, and thank you for all the beautiful memories and timeless talent. My brother, his wife and I had a great night. We made it through the Rain, like the song! Love you, Barry!! - Carolyn English (Staten Island, New York) (originally Bensonhurst, Brooklyn) (2/24/2013)

March 1-2: Barry Manilow thrilled the audience on March 1 and 2 at the beautiful St. James theater on Broadway. It is very evident that New York City loves Manilow!! There were standing ovations, waving of green glow sticks, singing along and people shouting “we love you Barry”. Time flies when you are having fun they say, and each night was perfection. Barry your star shines bright on Broadway and New York City your hometown, embraced you with open arms! I was so glad to be a part of each evening, and thank you for always giving us the best of you and for the music that lives in your heart. - Linda Foster (of Virginia) (3/4/2013)

February 19: The best concert I have ever attended! Went five other times at the St. James Theatre and each time it was better. Wish Barry would come back to New York or New Jersey again! - Maria Ditoro (of New Jersey) (6/6/2013)

I was given an oblong jewelry box by our kids on my birthday in March. When I opened it, it was full of yellow feathers! As I began to dig through them I noticed the name "MANILOW" and yelled "yahoooo!" and pulled it out. Except... there was only one ticket. I thought they forgot their dad. Then one daughter says, "Wait, where is your seat?" When I told her, all of our children as well as my husband began pulling tickets out of their pockets! I started screaming with joy!! Everyone was going and the grand kids began singing "Copacabana." I then asked if our (7th child) son was coming back from Pearl to go too. Unfortunately the Navy didn't think it was a good enough reason for a leave at that point... (but we are going to get him a shirt at the online store!). Since our kids were raised listening to Barry they were very excited and were rocking to his music. They really loved the music and had a wonderful time! They can't wait 'til he comes back again. GREAT CONCERT!! - Kathleen Lomont (Fort Wayne, Indiana) (4/23/2013)

What a great night in Pittsburgh. Barry's voice was brilliant - despite being under the weather the night before. As always, he gave everything he had for his fans and we remain ever so grateful. Barry, hearing you sing the first line of "Maria" from West Side Story as we greeted each other during Platinum made my night and perhaps, was the precursor of the most memorable concert of my life. Folks sing it to me so often when they say hello, but, now, I have the memory of your voice singing my name. I am so touched. Thank you - it was tremendous fun! - Maria Sobota (Denver, Colorado) (4/20/2013)

They call Baltimore, charm city. Barry certainly charmed the audience at the First Mariner Arena Saturday night April 20. He strode onto the stage wearing the most gorgeous blue sequin jacket to thunderous applause! He sang with such power and passion all night long. I loved hearing "Somewhere In the Night," "Could It Be Magic," "Even Now" and "Weekend in New England" and his popular classics. He treated us also to a song from his play called Harmony ("Every Single Day"). The crowd went wild. I am looking forward to seeing Harmony in Atlanta and the Alliance Theater in September 2013. Baltimore certainly loves Barry and I turned around several times to see thousands of people standing and waving green glow sticks – it was an awesome sight! Thank you Barry and to your band and backup singers for a beautiful evening, filled with Manilow magic and Beautiful Music. At the end of the show everyone was on their feet, waving goodbye to Barry as the air filled with confetti and streamers and I grabbed a handful of colorful streamers to take home with me. - Linda Foster (of Virginia) (4/22/2013)

When my son was eight years old, we both were Manilow fans. Singing Barry's songs in the car was our favorite pasttime. When Barry came out on stage (29 years ago) my son cried out of excitement! Now 29 years later, my son and I attended the April 25th Richmond concert together and had a great time (And yes, he cried again!). Barry's music has no age boundaries as the show proved today. Everyone, young and old, love Barry and his music. - Patricia Solari (Richmond, Virginia) (4/25/2013)

I loved everything! I cried when it was over knowing I'll probably never get to see this wonderful man again. The show was awesome. His voice was so strong and clear ... wonderful sense of humor, too. I have become a fan late in life and I regret all those years I missed, so I'm making up for it by buying all his tapes of previous concerts and TV shows. I especially loved Barry's duet with himself on the Midnight Special in 1975. The song was "Mandy" and it was SO great! - Sharon Smith (Richmond, Virginia) (5/22/2013)

First Show: I grew up with my parents having cassette tapes of all your albums. When we heard you were coming to Richmond, VA, we had to go. My wife and I took our 13 year old son who wasn't expecting anything exciting but he was blown away and has been a huge fan ever since. My son has several of your albums and a Barry Manilow shirt too. You have always been a favorite of mine, too, and your concert was awesome here in Richmond. Thanks for a great show, I look forward to seeing you again! - Christopher Van Ess (Mechanicsville, Virginia) (12/17/2014)

Favorite Show: [My husband and I have] seen Barry Manilow five times in the past 40 years and have loved every concert! Each concert was better than the previous one and I hope we can go to another one! - Linda Dame O'Dell (Richmond, Virginia) (4/6/2015)

Barry looked and sounded the best he has ever sounded. I brought my 8-year-old daughter Jessica to the show - her first concert - and she loved it. She said to me, "This is the second best night of my life - the first is when I was born and this is the second!" Thank you, Barry, for all the wonderful memories and for this very special night you provided to my daughter and me. We both will never forget it. - Sharlynn Herndon and (daughter) Jessica Herndon (Dallas, Georgia) (4/28/2013)

My second concert. Met with Barry at a Platinum! Such a gentleman in person as I thought he would be. Time went way too fast but the time spent with Barry will forever live in my heart. Time for the concert: Enter this tall and elegant man to thundering applause. About 13,000 people standing and cheering. What a sight to be hold. Barry was magnificent singing all the old and great songs as no one else can do. He was gracious and he appreciated the crowd as we did him. Going non stop for about an hour and a half, no one wanted him to stop. Especially me! I could have stayed all night. But all good things must come to an end. Such a great night with Barry. And for me, more concerts to come. Thanks! - Anita Lyles (Spring Hill, Tennessee) (7/29/2013)

June 14-16: Okay, Mr. Manilow... To say "you've still got it" is putting it mildly! Not only have you "got" it but you are spreading it to everyone else!! As a 30-year-plus follower of yours, it has been obvious to me over the last year or so that you are gathering more and more fans every performance. Your birthday weekend at the Greek was rockin' these last 3 nights and all I could see was a sea of beaming faces! Your passion, talent, charisma, caring and just plain "nice guy" [persona] comes through loud and clear. Well, they say things get better with age, and you are living proof! Just think, when you're 90 you will be the Best EVER!! Thanks for a FABULOUS weekend, Barry, and have a blow-out of a birthday on Monday (June 17th). You sure deserve it! Love ya!! - Irene Stanek (Palm Springs, California) (6/16/2013)

June 14-16: I picked this concert series as a favorite because it is the most recent and freshest in my mind. However EVERY concert experience has been special to me. I am so blessed to be able to see Mr. Manilow as much as I do. I have traveled many, many places in the last several years to see him perform. From Toronto to Detroit, New York, Las Vegas and now Los Angeles!! I have loved Mr. Manilow's music since I was a very young girl. My dad owned a music sheet and record store. He brought home a Barry Manilow album and I was hooked. I spent many hours pressing my ear to the speakers. I thank you for the music ... for the gift that you have shared with the world. This was the rescheduled performance from May 17 when Barry had bronchitis. This show was spectacular!! He did all of the songs!! He stepped on stage a little after 8pm and stepped off at 9:57! Wonderful performance. He apologized at the beginning for having missed the original date. Very sincere and he was in great voice. The Dallas crowds are always wild and this night was no exception. I was sad when it was over. I have been to many Barry concerts and he never disappoints! Everyone always leaves singing his songs! - Linda Fitzjarrell (Fort Worth, Texas) (6/29/2013)

This is the night I finally got to meet Barry, after 35 years, and the concert was so wonderful, even in the Texas heat wave. I was in the front row, but my son and his wife and my 10 year old granddaughter were also there. Barry gained 3 more fans that night! Thank you, Barry, for being wonderful when we met (even though I had 2 glasses of wine, and I was a little silly!). And thank you for an unforgettable show and night! - Dianne Herber (Georgetown, Texas) (10/31/2014)

He is ranked as the top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time, according to R&R (Radio & Records) and Billboard Magazines. August 2: When I saw Barry he looked just like he did forty years ago! His voice is just as amazing now as it was then. You can't help but love him. My favorite song was from Harmony ("Every Single Day"). It melted my heart. This concert was so special because my daughter took me to see Barry for my sixtieth birthday. I'm on a fixed income but the next time Barry tours close to my home I will find a way to see him. He is that fantastic! - Jo-Ann Gajewski (Baltimore, Maryland) (8/9/2013)

August 2: After the Denver concert on July 11th got canceled, I had to head out to NJ to say "Good-Bye" for 2013. Once again, my husband and daughter showed tremendous love for me as they kissed me goodbye at 4 a.m. in the morning as I headed across the country to enjoy an evening of music. Barry - It has been another great year of memories and beautiful music. What a great surprise to hear "Let's Hang On" tonight! And as usual, we were given the treat of wonderful humor as you pretended to dance off beat. We laughed. It was a beautiful theatre, a wonderful crowd, and amazing dedication by you once again to sing your heart out for us. As we send you off to your next great adventure... with gracious appreciation and best wishes for every success!! - Maria Sobota (Denver, Colorado) (8/9/2013)
