My special thanks go to my nearest and dearest ones who stood by me as I struggled with the concept of this fulfilling project:  Linda, Roberta, Nina, Marc, Marty, Adrienne, Bruce, Jack, Edna - I love you all so much.

My gratitude to my business associates for being encouraging and supportive:  Eric, Steve, Owen, Monte, Sandy, Irene, Les, Richard, Walt, Tucker, Lou - I can't smile without you.

My thanks to the Fates (and to Lorraine Feather) for dropping Eddie Arkin, my new musical soul-mate, in my lap.

Working with the musicians and singers on this album reminded me of why I am in the music business.  My gratitude to Al Hirt, Eddie Daniels, Stanley Clarke, Bill Watrous, David Benoit, The Benny Goodman Orchestra, Jon Hendricks and Annie Ross for their enthusiasm and inspiration during those first few days in the recording studio.

    Garry Kief is a genius.

Most of all, my deepest gratitude goes to Clive Davis and his associates at Arista Records for their belief and support.  It's good to be home again.

I will always remember this album with joy because it served to introduce me to one of the most talented and beautiful people in my life, my Co-Producer Eddie Arkin.

I wanted to record a techno-swing album and Eddie's brilliant and powerful arrangements were exactly what I heard in my head.

Getting to work with Diane Schuur, Phyllis Hyman, Stan Getz, Kid Creole, Tom Scott and, once again, the great Gerry Mulligan, made this album incredibly special for me.

It was also the album that reunited me with my beloved Arista family.  A great experience for me all the way around.
