A Message from Barry

Hi everyone!

Michael (Lloyd) and I finished mixing the new CD. We recorded this one at the O2 Arena in London a few months ago. We were accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and performed for 20,000 people.

It's got to be the most amazing sounding live album I’ve ever heard. You just won’t believe the sound of this concert.

The crowd was insane, the orchestra was divine and my band, singers and I were in top form. Can’t wait to hear what you guys think of this one.

The DVD came out great too. Lots of glow sticks!

Our last show at Paris Las Vegas is on December 11th. There's absolutely no truth to the rumor that we're going anywhere. We're deciding what would be the best thing to do. Thank Goodness, there are still loads of options.

My instinct is to get out of town. You know that song "How Can I Miss You If You Don’t Go Away"? That’s what I’m feeling now.

It certainly has been a great ride there. When we started the Vegas adventure it was only for one year. We’re now into our 7th year!

So Arista is over. It came as a big surprise to me. That makes three “endings” in one week.

  1. Michael’s death and the riveting Conrad Murray trial. Heart-breaking and infuriating.
  2. The passing of Steve Jobs – I feel like I’ve lost a member of the family. Do you know that without Steve Jobs we wouldn’t have a Mouse? He invented that too. Gone too soon.
  3. Arista closes. – collaborating with Clive and his team for the last 36 years has been such an exciting trip.

But, I try never to look back.

So stay tuned.

Love,
Barry
